Don't Give Up

I am reading this book and it is a really good book so far. Have you ever started reading a book and think after the first page that it is not going to be a good book. Well when jI first started reading this book I did not think that I was going to like it but I said I will give it a chance anyway. My teacher was right about this book. I am happy that I did not give up. I think that I did not like it at first because of the way that the author wrote the dialogue. I had to stop myself and say well this book is in a twelve year olds perspective and my grammar is not always perfect either. So I just started reading and kept in mind that the main character never learned to read or write well. Then next thing I knew I could not put the book down. I think that everyone can us this as an example for life. If everyone gave up on someting before they really got started then we would not have things like internet, phones, air conditioning, or even electricity. I don't know about anyone else but I don't know what I would do without air conditioning and plumbing.
